  14.                 NOTE:    starting at this release, customer should always have
  15.             the latest version of Internet Config with the software, as 
  16.             the proxy support will not work without it.

  19. 2.2    - ability to print forms
  20.             - retry on error.
  21.                 This is transparent to the user.  When an error occurs as a job is being
  22.                 sent, the job is put into the FTP outbox as an unsent message, along
  23.                 with information on where the job was uploaded on the FTP server.
  24.                 When the user tries to send the job again, The client looks in that
  25.                 directory on the FTP server, uploads the form again, and then uploads
  26.                 only thouse attachments that are not already there.  Also, if the FTP
  27.                 server supports the REST command, and a file has been partially sent,
  28.                 it resumes the transfer of that file at the point where the error occurred.
  29.                 This is very useful when the transfer of a large file gets interrupted,
  30.                 but not all FTP servers support it.
  31.                 
  32. 2.3    - added support for SMTP receipts
  33.             - automatically resizes the message window for different form sizes, like
  34.                 on Windows
  35.             - added horizontal scrollbar to forms
  36.             - added ability to let the user select the form that is opened when files
  37.                 are dropped on the icon.  On the Welcome window there are now two
  38.                 radio buttons labeled "Startup Form".  The user may select "Default" to
  39.                 open the default form, or "Ask User", in which case a dialog box will
  40.                 pop up when files are dragged on the icon, and the user can then choose 
  41.                 which he wants to open.
  42.             - added support to auto-configure FTP keys.  The Key-files must be placed in
  43.                 the Keys subdirectory, and the key files must be of type 'BHsk'.  (they are
  44.                 when the Mac FTP Manager is used to generate them.)  Whenever the client
  45.                 is run, it looks in the Keys directory for any key files, and appends them
  46.                 to the FTP Site List.  It then deletes the key file form the Keys directory,
  47.                 so it won't include it again the next time it runs.  It also deletes the
  48.                 Keys subdirectory after it has included all the keys.
  49.             - added support to auto-configure serial numbers.  A text file called "Serial.txt"
  50.                 can be placed in the main executable directory, and it may contain a serial
  51.                 number which is to be used by default in the user information window.  The
  52.                 12-digit serial number must be typed in the very beginning of the file.  When
  53.                 the client runs and it finds a Serial.txt file, it reads the serial number
  54.                 from it and puts it with the user information, and then it deletes the
  55.                 "Serial.txt" file.

  57.             Version 2.2. bugs fixed in version 2.3

  59.             - bug:    When the user tried to make a connection but entered a wrong userID
  60.                     or password for the site, the application crashes sometimes.  This
  61.                     was due to a mistake in the code related to retry on error support.  It is 
  62.            fixed in version 2.3
  63.             - bug:    retry-on-error did not always work on FTP servers that support the
  64.                     REST command.  Even though on the server side the file transmissions
  65.                     would start at the end of the partially transmitted file, the client
  66.                     would sometimes send incorrect data because the local file pointer
  67.                     was not advanced.  That would result in corrupted files on the FTP
  68.                     server.  Fixed in version 2.3
  69.             - bug:    selecting Message/Send Later from the menu bar might in some rare
  70.                     cases screw up the retry on error feature.  This is fixed in 2.3.
  71.             - bug:    when clicking the "Send Later" button in the message window, the job
  72.                     would be added to the FTP Outbox as a sent message.  It should be an
  73.                     unsent message.  This is fixed in Version 2.3.
  74.             - bug:    in the message window, the same file could be attached multiple times.
  75.                     fixed in version 2.3.
  76.                     
  77. 2.3.1        - improved the file listing analyzer algorithm so now it will work with NT
  78.                 file listings in addition to the previous UNIX support.
  79.             - modified the algortithm that tests whether a server supports the REST command, and 
  80.         will disable REST in situations where the server confirms that it supports it but 
  81.         fails the test.

  83. 2.3.2        - added support for the MACB command on Mac FTP servers.  This will eliminate
  84.                 of the "RNFR" error returned by NetPresenz servers that can't turn this feature off.

  86. 2.4 - added support for radio buttons
  87.             - changed the widths of text fields
  88.             - print settings are saved when app quits, and restored on app startup.
  89.             - added FTP site content window with full upload and download functionality
  90.             - User Setup window pops open on startup when it is not filled out.  User can
  91.                 no longer send a new message until he has filled out the User Setup window
  92.                 
  93.             - improved performance
  94.             - fixed a bug that would cause a crash if the FTP server drops the connection
  95.             - fixed a bug in the progress window which would cause the "time remaining"
  96.                 display to show nonsense values on 68k's with large files
  97.             - fixed the top margin in the forms
  98.             - fixed memory bug in beta version popup menu code
  99.             - fixed minor bug in beta when doing text file download s
  100.             - fixed minor bug in beta of FTP Site Content window.
  101.             - uploaded files are no longer auto-renamed when text or binary transfer is 
  102.                 checked.  Only when Auto transfer is checked, an extension may be added
  103.                 to the file name, as specified in the File Mappings.  This is just a very minor
  104.                 change but I thought it will make things just a little bit less confusing than
  105.         the version 2.4 beta.
  106.         - added support for form templates that were corrupted by StuffIt Expander
  107.        after decompression
  108.  
  109. 2.6     - added zlib streaming file compression 
  110.         - file dates are displayed in file listings.
  111.             - fixed ugly display in site content window (long filenames no longer overlap file size)
  112.             - added support for the distribution of public ftp site keys
  113.             - UNIX links now show up as directories in file listings
  114.
